If you have been couponing even a short while, you probably have an impressive stock pile!  Before you know it, you have enough toiletries to share.  Having a stockpile is a staple for most couponers and so should donating.  The hardest part of donating is finding a place to consistently donate to. Find a place close to you by asking friends or calling your local social services department or local school.  Then donate what you can and ask for a tax letter for your donated items. You can claim the retail value for your donated items! How awesome is that?!

I donate all I can to a place called The Judy Center. The Judy Center is a non profit organization serving our community. They partner with many other resource centers in our area like the local library, the local Head Start program, the local college, the local social services office, and many more!  My donated toiletries have helped many families in my area. One family was homeless and when they were able to move into a home, The Judy Center took the donated toiletries to help stock this family with all they would need for their new home. In less than a year I have donated over $700.00 to The Judy Center. I am only one person, imagine if we all donated…..
